My Bouquet

I decided long ago that I didn't want any flowers at the wedding. With the wedding taking place in Greece I felt that we'd be spending a lot of money on flowers that would inevitably end up dying before we could get them home. So I started thinking about other options for things I could carry. That's when I came across brooch bouquets. I talked about it in a previous post (click here to read) and now I have great pleasure in introducing my very own Heirloom Bouquet, from the ever so talented Sarah at Tiny Gems.

With the bouquet, I wanted to make sure it was something I could hand down to the next generation of brides (if they want it of course!) so Sarah incorporated a selection of brooches and jewellery from our grandparents - which makes it even more special. What do you think?

Sarah's been all over blog land with her Heirloom Bouquets, so here's what she says about them:

'I wanted to design something that was bespoke to each bride and something that they could treasure. Each bouquet is specifically designed to meet each bride's requirements ensuring that it matches the colour scheme or theme of the wedding. It also offers something different from the normal wedding bouquet.'

I love it. I'm even getting the gorgeous Debbie from DC Bouquets to make my OH a matching buttonhole! I'll post when it arrives. xx
