Afternoon Tea

So, my current favourite thing is a bridal shower! I love the idea. Especially great for anyone who doesn't really want a hen party a bridal shower gives you the opportunity to celebrate in a more 'low key' way. But don't let that fool you into thinking it's not as special. I've seen some amazing bridal shower's in the blog world. One of my favourite ideas is to take your very closest ladies for a tea party! So I spoke to Sam, from the Tea Party in London, to tell us about her fabulous venue!

Sam said:

'Tea Party' is a gorgeous, private pink tea shop based in North London.
It’s a perfect venue for private delectable tea parties that sits up to 20 guests. Resplendent with big pink chandelier, pink and white stripped walls and floral wallpaper; guests sit round beautifully laid tables decorated with fresh flowers and treated to a sumptuous afternoon tea served on vintage china.

Perfect for Baby Showers, Hen Parties, Birthday Parties, Bridal Showers and all manner of splendid occasions.

Sam set up Tea Party after being made redundant (just 8 weeks after returning from maternity leave).

I’ve always had the urge to set up my own business and basically, the idea came to me at 11pm one night (and yes, I remember the time!) I set it up to fit around my, now, 3 year old and just love it!

I love hen parties and bridal showers...mind you, all tea parties are happy occasions. There are other activities that can be added to a Tea Party, such as a magician, makeup artist, cupcake decorating and even a medium! It can all be run like an event, but most girls just love a girly gossip, lashings of tea and perhaps a few sips of bubbly!
