Say cheese!

My OH and I aren't serious people, we like a good laugh and to laugh at ourselves, so I've known since day dot our wedding day would be the same! I saw Charlotte's (from Rock My Wedding) wedding pictures in Cosmo Bride at the start of our planning. She provided funky glasses and props for her guests to use in pictures - so cute... so us! And so, thanks to that inspiration from Charlotte, we've decided to create our own fancy dress box and photo booth area on our wedding day. Partly to capture some sillyness at our reception and partly to entertain the kids - but mainly to entertain the adults! :0)

I've started collecting hats, glasses, props etc, which we're going to provide in a dedicated area for our guests to use in photos - and no doubt on the dance floor! I saw on another blog post or magazine (a while ago so I can't remember where - sorry!) the idea to get a patterned sheet to make a back drop for our homemade booth, so I'm currently on the look out for a nice big piece of fabric which we can hang. I know it's not a new idea anymore, I've since seen loads of weddings with this idea, but I still love it and, most importantly, it really does reflect me and my h2b! We love fancy dress and being silly so I want our photos to show this side of us. What's more, our families are exactly the same and I know they will love this idea. I'm hoping for something like these to put in our albumn:
