I'm not having a make up artist on the day. I'm actually doing my own make up. I have to be honest, I've had my make up done by other people in the past and I haven't liked the result. I like the way I do my own make up. All I want to do is make sure it stays put for the day. Anyway, back to the lashes...
Because I'm doing my own makeup, I've obviously got to put them on myself. I haven't worn any for years, so to make sure I'm prepped for the big day, I've decided I'm going to wear falses every time I go out to get the practice in! It's not easy!
I ruined two lots when I tried to put them on the other night, but eventually succeeded with some corner lashes, with a touch of purple in...

I'll do a seperate post on the make up side soon. I want to get a couple of looks to show you first.
If anyone has any tips on how to put false lashes on, without getting into such a sticky mess, please let me know. I need all the help I can get. xx
Looks fab!! Very natural (without the purple!) I'm having individual lashes attached just on the corners, but then again I'm not attempting to do that on my own! I love wearing fake eye lashes in fact I have a rather funky pair to wear tomorrow night at my first hen party. I'm with you on the fact that no mascara can compare!

Thanks hun. Yeah don't think I'll be sporting the purple look on the actual wedding! :0) I'm just not very good at putting on a full fake lash (these were corner ones). Your lashes looked fab in your make up trial, I remember now. This is the only problem with going abroad! Hey ho! xx
