My dream hen party

Viva Las Vegas!

Oh yes! Vegas would be my dream hen party. We went to Vegas for Dad's 50th last year and I've been desperate to go back ever since. I loved it so much I very nearly decided to get married out there.

Indulge me for just a moment while I reminisce:

Vegas had never really appealed to me before, but boy am I glad we went. As soon as you arrive you get swept away in the whirlwind of bright lights and the anything goes, party atmosphere. There is literally something for everyone; from casual to high-end shopping, dining experiences, dancing and drinking, gambling and sight-seeing to lazing around a pool and winding down in one of the many luxurious spas. Whatever your taste or budget you are going to find something you love in Vegas.

I was worried it was going to be too much about the gambling, something I wasn't interested in at all, but we spent a maximum of an hour on a couple of the black jack tables and the rest of the time was spent exploring each of the individually themed hotels. Which are, by themselves, the size of a small country. OK, so I'm exaggerating slightly, but they're humongous. Each has an overrunning theme, 'Paris' has a replica of the Eiffel tower, and the interior is decorated to replicate a Parisian street, the 'Venetian' has an actual canal running through it where you can go on actual gondola rides, 'New York, New York', has a giant statue of liberty outside, and the skyline of buildings. (The picture of New York, New York is my Twitter page background picture) I could make this a very long post, but my excitable ramblings simply won't do it justice. For me, it's just the most amazing place and I would go back in a flash.

If I was lucky enough to go back for my hen party, this is how it'd pan-out!

On arrival we'd be greeted by a limousine to take us to either the Mirage or Bellagio for 4 nights, where we'd spend time shopping and pampering ourselves in the amazing spas. We'd see Celine Dion at Caesars Palace, Cirque Du Soleil 'O' at the Bellagio; we'd party into the early hours at LX, Luxor and spend our days sleeping by the pool at the Wynn, with dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower Restuarant - all accompanied by champagne, of course!

One day I'll return, but unless my numbers come up on the lottery, it won't be for my hen party! xx
