Less is more

Despite me over planning before our visit to our wedding venue, (Tsilivi in Zante) and taking with us a scrap book of mood board ideas for each aspect of the day, it turns out both our ceremony venue and reception venue really need little decoration as they are both set in beautiful scenery.

But, me being me, still can’t resist making more work for myself so I am currently looking for a few details to add to the setting. Things that add a bit of ‘us’ to the day of course! But mainly it’s going to be about the odd lantern, a strategically placed line of bunting and some colourful ribbon more so than spending hours making brightly coloured tissue-paper pom-poms and searching for the right chair covers, as I'd previously planned!

Although I have things in mind, like this from the fab wedding blog Dog N Bird, I haven't decided exactly how it's all going to look, but I’ll certainly post when I do.
